My new found friend Corrine. She is an american raised in the LA area. She came to the Family History Center in Sheffield today to look up information on her great great grandfather. Her ancestor Frederick Charles Robinson was born in Sheffield in 1826. He joined the church and became a member of the Martin Handcart Company. Corrine is not a member of our faith. I called her royalty and was able to teach her about her ancestor. I told her to watch the movie "Seventeen Mircles" which is about these saints who left England in 1856. They sacrifices a lot to leave England and come west to Salt Lake. I had never met anyone who was a descendant of the Martin Handcart Company. It was truly an honor and privilege to met her.
