This is our dear friend Umar from Costco. With a smile he greeted us each time we went to Costco. He is one of the reasons we love coming to Costco. We are good friends and we enjoy talking to one another. We told him who we were and we did talk religion a little bit. We told him we were Mormons and he told us he was Muslim. As a Muslim he practices Ramadan. In ninth month of the Islamic calendar Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. The month lasts 29-30 days and they call it Ramadan. Umar did observe Ramadan and I'm sure it was hard for him to fast when he was serving samples at Costco. I am sure going to miss him when we go home.
