I gave Jan Burrows a bookmark that was made by my friend Jan Harrison in Arizona. The bookmark was made from tatting. Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. Jan here in England in return gave me a bookmark she made from parchment craft. Parchment craft is the art of embellishing and decorating parchment paper through the use of techniques such as embossing, cutting and coloring. Both arts are amazing.
